GenAP on the Compute Canada Arbutus Cloud
As of spring 2021, the GenAP infrastructure completely relies on the Compute Canada Arbutus Cloud located at the University of Victoria in British Columbia, thanks to large allocations (1000+ vCPUs, ~10 TB of RAM, 900 TB Storage) granted to us through the Research Platform Program.
Free resources for Canadian Researchers
Any canadian researcher using GenAP receives an initial allocation of 1.5 TB of
storage and 100 vCPU*days of compute for their researchs on GenAP. If your require
additional resources you can send your request
here.
Your storage allocation can be easily distributed between your Workspaces. See the following
tutorial for instructions on how to manage your allocation:
GenAP expansion on the Beluga Cloud
In response to growth, GenAP will expand its infrastructure on the Compute Canada Béluga Cloud located at Calcul Québec by the end of 2021.
