GenAP is a computing platform facilitating the work of researchers by offering tools such as Web applications leveraging Compute Canada resources.
You should attend our webinar if you ... :
- have data to share privately (on Canadian infrastructures) with internal or international collaborators;
- require public large data hosting (e.g. to visualize genomic datasets using the UCSC Genome Browser);
- are a life scientist that have large data to analyze but with limited command-line expertise;
- have single-cell data to analyze and dynamically annotate;
- are an instructor who wants to use Galaxy for teaching;
- are a software developer who wants to share his tool with a broad community of life scientists;
- work for a service facility and part of your end users need Compute Canada infrastructures.

Vous devriez assister à notre webinaire si vous ... :
- avez des données à partager en privé (sur des infrastructures canadiennes) avec des collaborateurs internes ou internationaux;
- nécessitez un hébergement public de données volumineuses (par exemple pour visualiser des ensembles de données génomiques à l'aide du navigateur génomique de UCSC);
- êtes un chercheur des sciences de la vie et avez de grandes quantités de données à analyser sans sans toutefois posséder une grande expertise avec la ligne de commande;
- avez des données de cellules uniques à analyser et à annoter dynamiquement;
- êtes un instructeur qui souhaite utiliser Galaxy pour une formation;
- êtes un développeur de logiciels qui souhaite partager son outil avec une large communauté de scientifiques de la vie;
- travaillez pour une plateforme de services et une partie de vos utilisateurs finaux ont besoin des infrastructures de Calcul Canada.

GenAP for Single-Cell researchers (Webinar)
This workshop is primarily targeted for health-science researchers specialized in Single-Cell analysis. In this webinar, we will go over the basics of how to get started with your working environment in GenAP (Genetics and Genomics Analysis Platform), followed by a demonstration on how to use Galaxy within GenAP. Finally, we will give a more detailed demonstration of how to take advantage of the single-cell tools implemented in GenAP, including Seurat, Scanpy for data-analysis, as well as UCSC Cell Browser and our in-house tool SCAP for annotation and visualization. To take advantage of GenAP services, please make sure that you have a working Compute Canada account available: CC account application
